I’ve fallen a bit behind in posting lately.
I had an internship 6 hours away from my home base,
school has had midterms,
and I’ve just generally been busy.
But I’ll be picking up again soon!
A peek at what’s coming up:
-The #oddhoneyswap package I received from the lovely Harper from
-The March LootCrate (Theme: COVERT)
-My first Comic Bento box (Theme: Feminine Mystique)
-An ACTUAL DIY for my amazing pizza pillow (and a link to my etsy shop for the lazier of you)
-A SUPER HUGE, AMAZING DIY that I’ve been slowly working on. I’ve been researching like mad to make this perfect.
My ‘To-Read’ lists, for three genres: General Reads, Rereads, and Updated Horror Manga
I’m really excited to throw a bunch of new content at you, so stay tuned.
Please be patient with me.
I learned yesterday that Monty Oum has passed away.
It turns out that he had “suffered a severe allergic reaction during a simple medical procedure that left him in a coma.” [Source – Rooster Teeth]
It is a sad loss for the community – He was a talented, creative man working on some awesome stuff.
My sympathy and thoughts go to his family and coworkers.
Even if you are unsure of who he is, I imagine you’ve at least heard of some of his work. He was a web-based animator here in the US who worked for the company
Rooster Teeth. He worked on Red vs. Blue and RWBY ( which is also the first American anime to be exported to Japan) most notably.
The company has asked that, in lieu of flowers of gifts, we do something creative and “use your imagination to make the world a better place in any way that you can,” as that is what Monty would be doing if he were able to.

I’ve never been particularly great with drawing- I’ve never been able to bridge what I see in my mind to the pencil on the paper.
But, I will try today, in honor of one of our own in the community. I will upload it later.
Rest in peace, Monty Oum.
HI ALL!! I’m stoked to bring you a new series– GEEKIFIED.
Essentially, it’s everything I was already doing, but with a different name.
Are you stoked? Because I am.
I present: GEEKIFIED
It’s going to be when I remake a project, either from Pinterest, a magazine, or some other source of information, and remake it to suit my geeky tastes. I’m really excited, and I hope you are, too!
I’m thinking I may make it a menu button, so that you can easily locate anything I’ve brought down to nerd town very easily.
I’ve got a lot of plans for this series, and I’m hoping it pans out in a way that brings you all as much joy as it does me me!
Keep your eyes peeled!
Current GEEKIFIED: DIY List
DIY Bird Feeders – 4/14/15
– DIY Space Invader Magnets – 8/01/16

I was given another 30 day free trial of CrunchyRoll,
but as many of you know, I’m already a premium member and free trials do me no good.
This one came in my LootCrate, so I’m not exactly sure how it works- maybe the email you use to sign up has to be an email associated with LootCrate? I’m unsure.
Either way, here the the link for another free 30 day trial of CrunchyRoll.
Hey guys- I’m over in Grenoble, France for school, and I have very little free time.
Study abroad for grad students is much harder than for undergrads, from what I can gather from watching the other kids on the trip.
We have school all day, with a short dinner break and mounds of homework – they get massive free time and small projects.
